Or, I really have been knitting!
Slow as molasses, the Duxbury back is finished and the front of the sweater is underway (barely).
The color is way off - it is actually an emerald green but I can't seem to achieve that at night with a flash. Imagination is a great thing. At last, I seem to be coming out of my 3 month slump. I have IDEAS again.
One Picture reminds me of me, the other reminds me of a jungle cat. Hum, I wonder which is which?
Bought Cascade Venusia in Blue Velvet
Stay Tuned!
The Dux is lovely! I wish I could see it in person. What is the name of the FI? It is tempting, although at this pace it would probably come out of the queue in 10 years!

Whoa, fabulous job on Dux, outstanding stitch definition. I'm tempted by the cardigan too (so little time ...). FI is gorgeous, esp for someone with your coloring. Are those circles FI or intarsia?

Junie- Is that dog sitting on the cat?
Oh dear.

Laughing at the puppy and the cat who is secretly waiting to do a number on the dog right? Lovely Dux and I'm in serious awe of you as a knitter if you are going to attempt that Fair Isle. That really is Fair Isle?

Wow! The Duxbury took some well planned thinking!
It's stunning!....and it's stunning because of your beautiful knitting!

Dear Folks:
So many have written and wondered "What about the kitty the pup is sitting on?" Fair question. Actually, the pictures came to me in a 'joke' email. I don't believe that puppy is actually sitting on a real cat. I believe it is a stuffed cat toy that has been squashed to look like a cat. Any puppy sitting on a cat would be missing many of her/his 'parts.'
Having raised a few litters of registered Himilayan kittens for 20 years, I can assure everyone that no real cat, not even a Himi, (flat faced, mild mannered, slow, heavy boned), would let a dog sit on them.
I hope everyone knows I didn't intend to upset anyone. And to that end, I am removing the offending puppy from the blog.
hugs

The aran is gorgeous work and the lady in blue is really rather attractive, so I assume that is you? It is an excellent photograph too.
