Or, Should I Do The Yankee Puzzle For The 4th Time?
I went on a Yarn Fast, and as if by magic, I received a $25.00, very tempting, gift certificate from eBay. They are celebrating their 10th anniversary. At the same time, my friend Jannette offered beautiful Jaeger Shetland Aran for an incredible price per 10 pack. Not only that, she offered free shipping. I weakened quickly. I purchased 20 balls of this lovely stuff for 1/3rd retail. Now, that was a deal I couldn't refuse. COULD YOU? No, I thought not.
This is a clear, mid blue and gorgeous
I decided to make my 4th Yankee Puzzle Barn Jacket, from Alice's Stillwater. I love that design. The mild winters on the Oregon coast rarely call for the use of a coat. It seldom gets cold enough to freeze water here. The barn jacket the perfect knitted garment to wear for every occasion. We are very informal in the backwaters of Oregon.
Stay tuned ...to see if I can finish Lily of the Valley. It won't be easy. I shall have to get out the whips and chains, or the biker cat to show me the impossible can be done!
I am already knitting my next project.
Question for the day: Why is it so easy to start projects and so tough to finish them?
