Sorry to hear about the loss of your friends. That is always a tough one. But, i absolutely love your stash enhancement!

Carolyn

Sigh...you have the BEST stash ever. I agree on the IK. I just got a chance to look at it today. Not too much inspiration in that one. I'm sure I can find something to keep me occupied until the fall...

I'm sorry to hear about your friends. That's never easy. I hope the fiber therapy helped.

Marie

So hard to lose friends! My sympathies to you. The stash enhancement is brilliant, though. In the Great Minds Think Alike Dept: I ordered some Kidsilk Haze from Jannette yesterday. Going to try the Birch shawl. The new IK is just very disappointing; I never like summer issues much, but this one is a new low. Even my slender 20-ish daughters won't wear those ugly camis! Happy knitting!

Love the Vogue cardigan! I'm sure that your friends would heartily approve of stash acquisition in times like these, and I hope that it cheers you up a bit, it will certainly keep you occupied for a few months, enough time to get over the initial loss.

I've got a few Whitelies patterns (Angelina is on my list for the Autumn) and have knitted Bella in Jaeger Albany, it worked out brilliantly (with the help of a steam iron).

So sorry to hear about your losses. I hope you have wonderful memories to see you through.

I really enjoy your blog, Junie. LOVE the Heirloom pattern....and c'mon, it's the red hair on the model in the Vogue that pulled you in, isn't it? :0) It's lovely, also.

Sara

Oh, I love! the Heirloom Jacket, and almost anything else from WhiteLies. I have tons of cotton in my stash (I live in Houston; need I say more?), so I'm curious to see how it turns out.

I think that the Grant Ave is just lovely and worth all of the work. Good job! I guess tirquoise any of the colors would be lovely and worth every bit of work. Barbara

Re: Melanie - I must do this shawl (evil grin). I'm guessing the violet yarn will show. Whatever it is, it will be beautiful.
