YEAH! Grant Ave is Finally a FO!
After nearly 3 months of work, Grant is a completed project. I can scarcely believe it took me that long. I do believe that it took longer than if I had knitted an entire cardigan. I think it was the vents..

The very small fasteners are made by a forge in Ashland, Oregon - and ordered from Web.sters.
They are resting on the sweater until I can figure out how to sew them in place.
They have very strange tiny bars inside to use to attach the clasps.
I knitted the facings in a striped pattern on the vents and bottom band, to match the colors of the large bottom motifs on the public side of the vest.
The neck and sleeves facings are Royal Blue - only because I like the color.
When it is worn - no one will ever see the facings, but I finish all my Fair Isle this way.
Grant, opened like an oyster and showing off it's funky facings and blooming like a rose!
Great work, Junieann ! I love the striped pattern on the facings. Good luck trying to figure out how the clasps work. They are exquisite.

It looks fantastic, well worth three months of knitting time. The clasps match perfectly. The colours are marvelous!

Grant Ave. is just beautiful, Junieann. I don't see how it could be nicer, and those facings are perfect. You ought to do workshops on doing facings, and finishing the insides.
