Junie - I appreciate your friendship as well. I'm so looking forward to knitting the Peacock shawl with you! I thought the buttons were a nice representation of two people who have have become friends by their mutual love of knitting.

Wonderful yarn, Junie, and how thoughtful of Jewel to give you the buttons--are they Claddaghs? I can't tell from the pics--elderly eyes here. I keep that little book in my "traveling knitting" bag--that way I can read when I can't knit (like when they put an IV in my hand, don't you just hate when they do that?). Isn't it great to have a good friend??
