The Baby Cables came out very nice, I love that sweater minus the turtle neck. I agree, I think you need to fix the V. As for the next one inline. Go for both :) There is nothing wrong about having two projects going at the same time. One repeat of one, one of the other .

Lorraine

Junie- The baby cables is lovely- I bet it's wonderfully soft.

I would do the Strathglass- you'd be the first person that I know of to do it.

...what are you waiting for? Cast on!!

Linda M

Junie, the cables are just beautiful and you'll get a lot of use from it because of the v-neck modifications. Go ahead and fix it so you'll be happy with it.

I vote for Duxbury Point in the Rowan 4-Ply. Strathglass is beautiful but the colors are not something I would want to work with in spring and summer.

Fran

The sweater is beautiful!

I'd go for the Strathglass next - a change from anything with twisted stitches or cables. On the other hand, the tweed is so beautiful. You'll be pleased with either, I bet.

Woo hoo! I love how the baby cables turned out; well done for sticking with it and keeping it away from the MLC site. The V-neck ribbing probably wouldn't have bothered me too much but if you're not happy then Laritza's right, fix it now so it doesn't rankle. I vote for Duxbury Point, but you know why :D

Beverley

I love the baby cables and with the v neck it looks much better, less smothering. The Strathglass looks wonderful and if you have the yarn and are ready to go, I say go for it. On the other hand, I would cast on anyhow for the other sweater, to give yourself a bit of a change! After all you did say you didn't like to spend all that time on one garment. Beverley

Beautiful work, Junie. I look forward to seeing you do the man's sweater. very nice.

It's beautiful, and so much knitting work! I haven't tried the Lavold wool, but the Rowan 4ply is quite tweedy and might look nice. I've used cashsoft but not in textured knitting, so I don't know how it looks in cables. I can't believe that you can go from one big project to another without having a simple project inbetween as a breather!

marti

calvin's cables look lovely! i can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Well, folks, I did 'get it right' on the 3rd try. I had to go down to a size 1 needle. The V looks great now.

I am anxious to wear it. Maybe today for Mothers Day. Thanks for all the helpful comments.

Junie
